Alan's MSA Factory Visit 9/14/02

On September 14, 2002, Maurice Anderson, his brother Jerry, and Kyle Bennett were kind enough to meet me at the MSA Factory. They gave me a tour of the factory with its laser controlled machining equipment and showed me the individual parts that go into the new MSA Millennium pedal steels. I was not only impressed by the care and quality of the parts and final product, but also by the kindness these folks showed me before, during and after my visit. To find out more about these new-fangled contraptions, sure to mark a turning point in the technology and art of pedal steel construction, click on the pictures below to see larger versions, or go to the MSA Pedal Steels web site.

Beautiful with a sound to match.
